Support God’s Work in Guatemala.
The vision given to us by God is to help advance the Great Commission throughout the world by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ by serving where God calls us.
Levi and Jackie Davis are full-time Missionaries and Missionary Advisory Board members with World Outreach Ministries. The two have served in many ministerial capacities together in their unique Spiritual Gifts since 1998. They have been working in Guatemala with locals proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ in Word and in deed since 2006.
Levi Davis Jr. grew up in a Christian home. During a retreat, he accepted Christ in 1985. God has blessed Levi with gifts in music and construction. He’s played music since he was 12 years old. This includes singing and several instruments both in school and ‘garage’ bands. He graduated from The Citadel receiving a BS in Civil Engineering. He has worked over 15 years in the construction industry in various roles from Project Engineer to VP of a Construction Management company. In addition to using these skills for ministry, he’s been involved in ministries utilizing his computer skills, leadership skills, automotive skills, and foreign language. Levi explains, “God seems to put me where I am needed, so I will follow His lead without hesitation.” Currently serving with his construction & engineering skills building a Mission Center and serves the church on the worship team and facility needs.

Jackie Davis accepted Christ in 1997. She’s felt the calling of God to full-time ministry ever since. Her formal education consists of degrees in Commercial Art & Design (AS from Vincennes University) and Visual Communications Design (BA from Purdue University). She spent 12 years in her career full-time. God has used her skills gained in the profession for ministry, as well as the gift of hospitality, mercy, and prayer. She serves in both strengthening the Body (served 9 years with mission’s conference committee and now serves missionary families and their children) and making new disciples by loving on the Lost (local women and families to seek God first).
Their Story

In January 1998, God introduced Levi and Jackie. Since their first meeting, they discussed doing mission work full-time for retirement. After serving in many ministries in the church, in-home, and in the community such as serving as Deacons, weekly home Bible study, and in a teen girl’s home, the two were married in March of 2000 at their church, at the time, in Indian Rocks Beach, FL.

At this church and all that followed, Levi has served on the worship team and helped with the facility and various staffing needs. Jackie assists and serves as her time allows while raising their children with the primary focus being school. They attended a church in Clearwater, FL in 2003, where the two were baptized together in the Gulf of Mexico (Fort DeSoto). They hosted a weekly married couples Bible study in their home. That following winter, Levi was eager to sign up to go to Guatemala on a construction mission trip.

In January 2004, the two moved to Indiana (a move for Jackie to care for her mother). They attended Vineyard Community Church of Bloomington and hosted Bible study weekly in their home. Levi went on the first mission trip in March of 2004, while Jackie stayed home, having complications due to PCOS, pregnant with their first child. During the trip, the team prayed for a local faithful lady dying of cancer on a dirt floor. This experience of seeing her family grieving with no peace of eternal life put it upon Levi’s heart to serve one family at a time with a solid foundation, not just physically but spiritually. Levi returned to tell Jackie what God pressed on his heart while there; in short, “We’re being called to Guatemala”, Jackie responded, “When do we pack?”

Their first child was born later in 2004. Levi attended his second trip to Guatemala in December 2004, blessing many local families at a Christmas Dinner. Some families he met then, still disciple and serve with the Davis family today. The three finally got to go as a family on a mission trip in April of 2005.

They sold everything, but the bare basics in August 2005 to start their journey serving full-time. Support raising was “slow”, but still on God’s time. Since everything was sold, they moved into temporary missionary housing in St. Petersburg, Florida to continue to raise support.
In December 2005, Levi went to Guatemala on a mission trip and added looking for a home while Jackie and her daughter went to Indiana to surprise her family with a visit before their big move.
Then in January 2006, they ventured to Guatemala to serve there full-time after serving two years in short-term mission teams!

The family takes a lot of personal items to Guatemala in January 2006 with 6 carry-ons and 12 checked bags and a car seat.
Present

The ministry vision is to present to the people of Guatemala the Savior, Jesus Christ, evangelizing to all, and showing how much God loves them by serving in various outreaches that include Bible study and needed construction. Using the many gifts God has given the Davis family, they wish to serve in all their capacities to further God’s Kingdom!
