Our Mission
Levi & Jackie Davis are full‑time missionaries blending engineering, education, and discipleship to serve families across rural Guatemala. The vision God has given is to advance the Great Commission throughout the world by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and serving where He calls. Since 2006, the focus has been to bridge the gap between physical need and spiritual hope in rural Guatemala.
Who We Are Today
Levi and Jackie Davis serve as full-time missionaries and volunteer Missionary Advisory Board members with World Outreach Ministries. Our ministry is a result of twenty years of faithful service, blending our unique professional backgrounds with a heart for the people of Guatemala.
- Levi Davis Jr.: With a BS in Civil Engineering and 15 years of prior experience in construction management, Levi oversees our Mission Center construction and infrastructure projects. Whether leading worship, managing facility needs, or applying engineering skills to solve community challenges, Levi follows God’s lead where He is needed most.
- Jackie Davis: With a background in communications and education, Jackie uses her professional skills to document and share our ministry’s story. Her focus is on strengthening the Body and making disciples by loving and teaching local women and families through hospitality, mercy, and prayer.
A Note on Our Support: As full-time missionaries, we are supported entirely by the generosity of partners (individuals and churches) who share our vision. We do not receive a traditional salary; instead, we rely on the Lord to provide for our family and the ministry through the faithful giving of our partners.
Our Journey of Faith
Our story is one of trusting God’s timing, step by step.
The Calling (1998–2003) In 1998, God brought us together. Even then, we discussed the possibility of full-time mission work for our retirement. After serving in many capacities: as Deacons, leading home Bible studies, and working with youth, we were married in 2000.
In 2003, after being baptized together in the Gulf of Mexico, the desire to serve internationally grew, and Levi signed up for his first mission trip to Guatemala.
The Defining Moment (2004) While Levi was on a mission trip in 2004, he witnessed a local family grieving for a loved one who had passed away without the hope of eternal life.
This experience pressed a specific burden onto Levi’s heart: to serve families with a solid foundation, both physically and spiritually. When he returned home and shared this with Jackie, her response was simple: “When do we pack?”
Stepping Out in Faith (2005–2006) By August 2005, we sold nearly everything we owned to begin their journey serving full-time. Support raising was a process that relied entirely on God’s timing.
After a season of raising support, we arrived in Guatemala in January 2006 to serve full-time. We arrived with six carry-ons, twelve checked bags, a car seat, and a deep commitment to the families God placed in our path.
